Hello Beauty Lovers!

I just want to share my favourite picks of the week. In the spirit of Halloween I can’t help but mention some of my favourite bodypainting products and tools as well as a few beauty products that I am using at the moment that I love!

1.) Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Babydoll 4, Indiscreet Purple €32.50
In top spot is this absolute beauty of a Mascara. YSL have completely outdone themselves this time! I have been using this deep purple mascara for the last week and my eyelashes look astonishingly defined, lifted and separated.

2.) Bad Ass Stencils
I use these for my bodypainting and airbrushing to help speed things up. Their small size means that they fit well with the contour of the body and the strong plastic means that they will last for years.

3.) Youngblood Liquid Mineral Foundation €35.00
I have dabbled in mineral makeup in the past, but always been disappointed with the quality and range of products. Youngblood definitely closes the gap between natural healthy makeup and the high end brands. This foundation has a delightfully creamy texture and I was surprised how light in colour it was, definitely suitable for us pale Irish lasses!

 4.) Kryolan Facepaints
They are my go to brand for face and bodypainting. I find the glycerin rich formula simply glides over the skin and creates a rich colour with minimum effort. There may be cheaper brands, but these will save you time and effort!

5.) NYC Colour Instinct palette in Rooftop Cocktails €3.49
It is no secret I am a snob when it comes to makeup. I was genuinely surprised at the quality and colour pay off from this eyeshadow! They are really lovely colours that are perfect for everyday at the office!

6.) The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter €14.95
It is so much fun applying Halloween Makeup, but it is not as enjoyable taking it off! This gentle soothing cleansing balm will remove even the most outrageous makeup, but will keep your skin as soft as a baby’s bottom 🙂

7.) Sigma Extreme Colour Payoff Pro Series Set $63
This set is part of the new Pro Series that Sigma have developed. I have been using these to create really intense smokey eyes with little effort. I love how the densely packed hairs don’t let a drop of pigment spill except where you want them to go!

8.) Sports Ink Tattoo Transfers
I already reviewed these here: http://www.emmafarrellmakeup.com/easy-to-apply-scars-for-halloween/, but for Halloween you seriously can’t beat them.

9.) Rouge Pur Couture Vernis a Levres in Rose Babydoll €29.00
This lip lacquer is a great every day workhorse. It’s rosy tone is perfect for day time and the longevity of this means that it saves you time and money as you don’t have to keep topping up.

10.) Paul and Joe Loose Powder
I just adore the opulence of this large powder puff. I powder my face with extravagance every morning with this fine silky powder. It reminds me of a by gone era.

What are you loving at the moment? Have you tried any of these?

Lots of love,
