Monday Manicure: Rimmel Salon Pro Nail Polish

rimmel pro nail polish

Hello Beauty Babes,

I love my nails…a lot 🙂 so when this bargain buy from Rimmel came onto my radar I had to give it a shot. I used this Salon Pro colour in 237 Soul Sesson with a layer of Butter London’s Tart with a Heart RRP €15 on top.

It was touted as a 10 day chip resistant nail colour with gel shine finish, which includes a precision maxi brush for salon perfection. I was slightly sceptical as have heard so many of these claims before (shockproof, fade proof, chip proof and everything under the sun resistant) and as you know I’m a devout shellac-er 🙂

The brush on this polish is fantastic, it only takes one stroke and the whole nail is covered. It only takes two coats and you have a solid, glossy colour! Yes….it is a base coat, top coat and gel shine all in one which will be excellent news to those of you who’s manicure regime leaves a little to be desired 🙂

I was really impressed as the manicure lasted about a week, not far from their ten day claim. This is good enough for me!

At €6.45 and a steady hand we can now have salon look nails at a fraction of the price. There are 9 in the Kate Moss collection alone as well as others in the range, so more than enough to keep you testing 😛

Have you tried these yet? Aren’t they great value?
