Well hello there!
As promised I am back already with my Wedding themed weekly post. This time I thought I would share one of my favourite wedding looks. Something with a vintage twist! Dara my client was great, because she is a make-up artist herself, she didn’t want to go for a classic bridal look. She wanted something a little more dramatic. With the styling of her dress we both felt that a 1940s look would be perfect.
I applied a nude eyeshadow all over and sculpted her eye socket with a soft matt taupe colour. Lined the waterline with a cream eyepencil and the top eyelid with a gel liner going outwards in a flick. We then lay 3/4 lashes that had a lovely flair to them. This was followed with lashings of mascara. For the lips I applied a red pencil liner all over the lips, defining her cupids bow quite strongly. After this a matt red lipstick was applied which would last the whole day. I went back over my edges with concealer to ensure that the lips looked crisp and perfect.
I loved the hair and jewellery that she went with, I thought it really tied the whole look together. What do you think? Is this a look that you would like for your wedding?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Lots of love,
