We haven’t done a favourites here at EFCS in a while and there are a few products new and old that I’ve been using this week that I thought I’d mention! So I’ll make this short and sweet, here we go….
First up is something I’ve been experimenting with for a while and I have to say I love it. Magnifibre lashes! For any of you who love a false lashes or something that replicates the effect this is the answer to your lash prayers 🙂 I hate thick heavy coats of mascara so this is amazing. Basically apply one light coat of the mascara that it comes with or your favourite one and then a layer of the fibers finishing off with one more layer of mascara to keep in place. It does exactly what it says on the tin and I would absolutely recommend for a fantastic false lash finish without the glue!
Next is the NYC ‘City Proof Intense Twistable Lip Colour’ in ‘Ballroom Blush – 41’. The lasting power on these bad boys is seriously impressive and managed to stay on my lips for the whole day without reapplication, this is even after I’d blotted down the colour when I put it on. It’s not drying like some other sticks and can absolutely be worn alone as a beautiful lip stain and applied heavier as a full lipstick. My favourite part about the whole thing is the precision that it gives that you can’t achieve with a lipstick, that and the price!!At €2.99 and some great colours to choose from I give two very big thumbs up.
There are few BB creams (and CC…and DD) that I’ve tried that I’ve really loved until I came across this one. With just enough coverage and a great medicinal smell (which I love as makes me feel like I’m putting something good on my skin…. It works for me ok…. 🙂 ) The Body Shop ‘Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream’ has become a staple in my makeup bag. For those who don’t want to wear makeup but even out their tone – this is just the ticket. This and a little MAC mineralize across the t-zone and you’re good to go!
Lastly is the Real Techniques ‘Expert Face Brush’. Look, I know everyone has been raving about them but once I got this brush I understood why. It’s amazing and by far my favourite foundation by a long shot…… I’m obsessed. Not only does it buff liquid and cream products beautifully but every single client I’ve used it on has commented on it and how gorgeous and soft it feels on their skin. I could go on and on but this is a fantastic brush that everyone should invest in as is brilliant quality and an even better price retailing at €13.29 in Boots.
That’s me for this week but as always please comment below or let us know your thoughts on any of these or better yet let us know what you are in love with weather!
