I did a shoot recently with the up and coming photographer Emily Charlotte Greene & also rising star hairstylist Glen Cullen, our model was the lovely Niamh from Distinct Model Management, our stylist was the very fun Marina Sardanopoli. It started out as a test shoot however it was picked up by a publication & will be published later this month.
What’s a test or TFP shoot? When I started out I’d no idea. I eventually found out, TFP means time for print. Technically you are giving your time for free as are all the team, in order to work on your portfolio. I’ll blog again in more detail on photoshoots for those interested(leave a comment to let me know if it’s something you’d like to read about)
Here’s some of the behind the scenes shots. Emilys studio is really cool, it reminds me of a New York loft..or at least this is what I imagine that would look like! Emily has a great collection of polaroid shots she takes during the shoot.
I used the Chanel quad palette 214 , MAC face & body foundation, MAC baby don’t go to contour & Melba blush, Smashbox artificial light to highlight, No.7 lip pencil in Nude and No.7 nude lip gloss. On the eyes, I used MAC smoulder. I later added an Inglot purple No 493.
I’ll share the finished images soon as well as how we decided on the looks as a team for the shoot.
